Coppa Club

Coppa Club Brighton

You’ll love Coppa Club Brighton’s trendy décor and elegant atmosphere. This is the perfect place to kick back with friends for a long lazy lunch or book out their stylish bar area for an evening of cocktails.
You can also enjoy some great food in one of the many luxurious indoor spaces – they have everything from exquisite brunches to late-night pizzas!

Essentially, they want to create a place where you can go at any point during the day and enjoy some coffee or food.
There are plenty of lounge areas where you can enjoy a coffee or cocktail in a more relaxed setting. I guarantee you will truly believe that your favourite spot is yours “all day”!

The Food

The menu is casual and features European cuisine. For lunch and dinner, you can enjoy small plates as well as grilled dishes.

Pizza selections are also available for a hearty meal that’s easy on the waistline!

For starters: You won’t be able to resist nibbles like olives or almonds and chorizo sausages despite being stuffed full already by delicious food at your table – so go easy on these if you can help yourself!
For a starter though there are plenty more options than just those as well- like crispy squid (which is awesome!)

When they offered crab linguini with chilli and cherry tomatoes, not only did it meet my expectations but exceeded them!
The noodles were cooked just right – soft yet firm enough to hold up against all those bold flavours.

My dining partner loved the vegetarian burger, with beetroot, quinoa, chickpeas and coriander patty- so much that I had to order another one! The skinny fries were perfect for dipping in ketchup.

I was so stuffed after all that great food, but he insisted on ordering dessert. I went for the pie and my date wanted something gooey like brownies or ice cream.
In the end, we split a piece of our favourite flavour–chocolate with cashews in it!

Fully Licensed Bar

No one is ever bored when visiting the Coppa Club. They have a wide variety of options that will satisfy any palate, from their soft drinks to sparkling wines or cocktails for those looking for something more indulgent.

If you’re in the mood for a light, fruity wine to drink with your date or friends, then I would recommend checking out this restaurant. They have some really good wines on their menu and they all taste delicious!

I had a wonderful Italian Sauvignon Blanc while my partner enjoyed a Viognier. Both wines were amazing, but if you’re in the mood for something sweeter then try one of their cocktails like Stroppy Cow which is delicious and refreshing.

Al Duomo

Al Duomo Brighton

It’s finally your turn to try this incredibly popular, authentic Italian experience in the heart of Brighton.

Al Duomo has been serving up delicious dishes since 1991 and is known for its generous portions at affordable prices!

The restaurant seats 300 people across five floors so there’ll be no problem finding a table on either a small or large scale event with plenty of room left over for elaborate set design and catering if you’re celebrating something special.

My friend and I head for a bite to eat at Al Duomo, situated right in the heart of Brighton.
The restaurant is filled with chatter from families enjoying their meals together as well as alone diners looking to enjoy some great food before they go home.
It has grown into one of my favourite restaurants- not only because it was recommended by friends but also because the service is excellent!

Great Food for Everyone

Do you know what’s great about Al Duomo? Their antipasti and pasta. I recommend spaghetti with tomato sauce, it is delicious!
If you’re feeling particularly hungry go for a pizza too. The dough they use to make the crust has some special secret ingredient in there that makes all of their pizzas amazing.

Al Duomo offers an extensive menu that includes both Northern Italian food as well as Southern Italian cuisine.
This means that no matter your mood or preference, chances are good something will be suitable on their diverse list of dishes from Antipasta & Starters through Salads and Pasta Dishes to authentic hand-spun Pizzas made using only traditional ingredients sourced locally where possible – including carefully selected flour.

We all know that kids food is tough to find, but Al Duomo has some of the best options for little ones at a reasonable price.
Their menu ranges from pizza and pasta dishes so there are sure to be choices your child will love!
They even have smaller portions if you’ve got an older kid who’s grown out of their original age bracket- it’ll only cost £2.95 less than the normal meal!

Drink List

What does your after-work cocktail say about you? Al Duomo is the place to go for an iconic Italian experience.
They don’t just have delicious cocktails – they also offer Champagne, brandies and liqueurs!
Try their two-for-one Aperol Spritz on Sundays through Fridays between 3 pm until 9 pm outside in a relaxing alfresco setting or inside at one of their tables nestled amongst Italian art from Florence’s Renaissance period.

The Best Desserts

The desserts at this place were to die for. I was literally full up until the dessert course, but we still managed to save a little room so that we could try their tiramisu and banoffee pie which not only did they deliver on flavour like every other dish before it but also had an amazing aftertaste of strong fresh coffee from its tiramisu filling – just perfect!
The next time you’re craving some sweet treats in Brighton then be sure to stop by here at Al Duomo – you won’t regret it one bit!

And then there’s this flambéed chorizo dish; yes, you’ll want to order more than just tapa size portions because once you try them they’re hard not to crave some more.

Gars

0

Gars Brighton

Gars has been serving Brighton Chinese cuisine since 1983 and is the market leader for this distinctive cuisine. Its popularity can be attributed to its consistency, with many dishes cooked in the same way as it was years ago.
A wonderful restaurant for special occasions, Gars in Brighton is classified as Chinese fine dining with pan Asian additions.

This family-run restaurant is located in the historic Lanes of Brighton near Brighton Town Hall, and Gars stands out for its excellent service and emphasis on Cantonese food classics. They place a high value on the aesthetics of the restaurant and have created a seamless space of quality aesthetics in a setting with a contemporary oriental atmosphere.

Modern Chinese Cuisine

The menu at Gars Brighton is always changing, so new tastes and ideas can always be reflected. Serving primarily modern Chinese cuisine alongside other favourites like Thai green curry and salmon teriyaki. It’s tough not to fall in love with all the enticing dishes on offer with friendly staff to guide you through all these mouth-watering dishes.

Asian influences abound on the menu at this restaurant, which also appeals more to Anglo diners compared to some other Chinese restaurants in town. You’ll find familiar dishes like chicken satay, wonton soup, sizzling meat dishes and fried shredded beef here.

Long-standing Modern Chinese restaurant on 3 levels, with polished bamboo floors and silk shades.

The best we ever had was an inch thick prawn toast. The garlic prawns were soft, meaty, and crisp all at once, and the ribs in a sticky Peking-style barbecue sauce were delicious. We recommend the soft shell crab with a light batter and enough spicy pepper to wake you up.

Afterwards, we had aromatic duck pancakes, Kung Pao prawns, sizzling steak in black pepper sauce, Chinese noodles, and egg fried rice. A lovely mix of sweet, spicy, salty, rich and salt that is sure to fill us up.

It’s worth checking out the daytime menu too; we loved the stuffed crab claws, the asparagus hot pot, the pork dumpling soup, and the fashionable bao buns. This is a great Chinese food spot if you need some tasty, affordable Chinese food to satisfy a craving.

Perfect Venue for Special Occasions

Gars as a venue is quite different from other Brighton restaurants because it provides everything you need if you want to do something special. It does not matter if you need a corporate or private hire, a birthday or anniversary celebration, or just your ordinary everyday celebration, the function rooms will provide a karaoke system with a private bar. A wide variety of diverse events can be catered at Gars, from entertaining corporate clients to fabulous wedding receptions, and Gars can accommodate any number of guests, whether you are hosting a small reception or the most elaborate party.

Takeaway is also available at Gars and can be delivered by Deliveroo and Dinner2go.

The Coal Shed

The Coal Shed Restaurant Brighton

The Coal Shed has been on my social media for months now, and I’m excited to finally try their food. Their dishes are very hard not to drool over as they all look so good in the pictures!

The Coal Shed is a class act. The first thing you see when entering the bar are lines of dazzling bottles, sparkling in the low light.
It’s as classy and sophisticatedly decorated with exposed wooden floors, dark hues and hanging lamps; it creates an intimate ambience that can’t be beaten!

This is a hidden gem in the Lanes. Close to the beach and lots of great places, you might miss it if not looking carefully enough!

Foodie Delight

This restaurant is a carnivore’s delight! They’ve got the best beef around with their locally sourced meat cooked on Josper grill.
You can even choose from different breeds, cuts and weights of protein all served up to your liking.

The menu has something for everyone, from the decadent Truffle Mac and Cheese to freshly picked Minted Jersey Royals. Not to mention that their beef-dripping chips are addicting!

The menu has a fresh and distinct flavour with fish landed in Brighton and Newhaven. Seasonal vegetables are locally sourced, meats that focus on high welfare is used as well.

Food for Everyone

The Coal Shed Brighton caters to all different crowds with its decadent fare. Whether you’re looking for a quick meal or an intimate evening out, this restaurant is perfect for whatever your heart desires!

Whether you prefer your beef to be cooked rare or well done, there are plenty of options on the menu for meat lovers.
All-natural Angus burgers and salt marsh lamb rump will satisfy any appetite but if fish is more up your alley try kombu cured monkfish with a side dish that includes mussels, clams and white beans!

The kids’ menu is made up of fresh ingredients in familiar dishes so your child can enjoy their favourite meal.

Plant-based diners will also enjoy a meal at The Coal Shed. Well thought out dishes that don’t play second fiddle seem to be the dish of choice for these menu items, and not only do they taste good but you can feel even better about what you are eating!

To finish off this culinary adventure enjoy some mini doughnuts dipped in molten chocolate sauce.

Sunday Meal

Sure, the Sunday roast is a British tradition. But this is Britain’s best! You can’t go wrong with half-a-kg of succulent sirloin beef that just melts in your mouth paired perfectly with classic Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy to share between two people.

The bar offers a range of drinks at affordable prices, with amazing cocktails and wine to make you happy. The place is worth the money!

Redroaster Cafe

0

Redroaster Cafe Brighton

When Redroaster opened in 2000, they couldn’t have imagined it would become the fantastic restaurant and café that it is today. Serving up mouth-watering food as well as incredible coffee drinks like their famous Caramel Latte! The innovative menu boasts modern cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds while you enjoy friends or family over brunch.

Redroaster by day and Lucky Khao at night, this coffeehouse provides ethically sourced hand-roasted beans. Serving up a brunch that is served every single day of the year!

Redroaster’s Interior

In the Red Roaster space, you’ll find a serene atmosphere with luxurious touches. The glasshouse-style design lets in plenty of natural light and offers seasonal foliage inside to make it feel special. There’s also an open kitchen where talented chefs work their magic every day for brunch and lunch service.

You’ll be impressed with this ‘go-to destination’!

All-day Brunch Menu

We all need our breakfast fix in the morning so why not go somewhere where they know how to make it right? Redroaster has been serving up classic breakfasts since day one – think of classics like eggs benedict or pancakes but served differently than what you might be used to. Or maybe even try some great twists like this amazing egg dish featuring crispy fried potatoes atop sautéed corn guacamole.

Redroaster’s brunch is a must-eat, especially if you want to experience something new that tastes just as good. Their crab and avocado brioche with yuzu curd or their herb waffle topped with bacon jam and black pudding will take your taste buds on an exciting journey for sure!

For brunch, you can choose from the extensive menu of delicious dishes or go all out with Bottomless Brunch. This includes a 90-minute time limit for endless cocktails and other beverages!

What We Order

Among the many delicious dishes on offer at Red Roaster, we found ourselves mesmerized by their signature “Redroaster Juice Flight” – a choice of cloudy apple juice with bits and classic orange juice. We also tried tangy beetroot and carrot juices to round off our taste-testing experience!

I ordered the bacon dish, it came with a pile of intense and wonderful bacon jam on top. Alongside that were two maple-glazed rashers of streaky smoked bacon for company. There was also fried egg topped off by apple batons to give an extra fresh element – all in all, simply awesome!

My dinner companion has ordered the succulent crab with shellfish brioche, cradled with pansies and stewed pumpkin topped with a crumble of tonka bean crumble, as well as a mousse of avocado. This dish is both tasty and new for those who are vegetarians.

The morning continued to fly by, and before we knew it the first round of coffee had come around. With this in mind, I ordered a macadamia almond cappuccino which was light yet rich with its natural sweetness while my friend opted for one without sugar but filled with plenty of buttercream frosting on top! We also shared Victoria Sponge cake that was as subtle as could be despite being moist and delightful – perfect for any occasion or mood.

The Brighton institution that started as a local coffee house now has some of the most talked-about food in this region. The New York Times even named this place and it’s still true to its roots with nothing but fresh cups of Joe from one of the oldest roasters around!

Cin Cin

Cin Cin Brighton

You know you’re at Cin Cin when you see the huge breakfast counter. I mean, who doesn’t like spending time in a kitchen?
Parties are so much better because guests always seem to gravitate there for food or drinks and to chat with each other over nibbles.
When we think about it, many people eat on their counters rather than tables-tops!
It’s probably just because they remind us of our moms cooking as kids and how excited we were waiting for that meal she prepared!

It’s probably just because they remind us of our moms cooking as kids and how excited we were waiting for that meal she prepared!

Social dining At Its Best

Cin Cin Brighton is a restaurant that brings you to the heart of its kitchen.
The open bar and cooking area allow diners to have an up-close interaction with their waitstaff, chefs, and other guests who are all there for one reason: food!
Be ready to share your conversations with everyone–the staff welcomes every guest as old friends at each visit here in this dining experience unlike any other.

Here, you can be sure to enjoy a lively and sociable ambience! You’ll have no trouble striking up easy conversations with the person next to you about dishes that are unlike any other Italian cuisine.

Amazing Italian Cuisine

The thing that I love about Italian food is the way they’re able to take simple ingredients and turn them into something amazing.
Cin Cin does just this, taking their time with each dish so you can have a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Start your meal off right by ordering some snacks or antipasti – it’s always best when the main course isn’t too heavy!
The small plates are where Italy shines through, no matter what season of the year we’re in; there’s never been anything like marinated artichokes before!
Have fun trying everything on offer because nothing quite compares to pasta dishes- but make sure not to fill up all at once whilst still hungry for dessert otherwise you’ll miss out on one of my favourite parts.

One of the most interesting desserts, which is a must-try for any dessert lover.
The banoffee pannacotta with candied pecans and vanilla zabaglione as well as Yorkshire rhubarb pie are both delicacies that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Drinks

The bar may be small but it is bursting with a variety of wines, cocktails and beers.
We started the night just like any other – we had to order drinks! Of course, one cocktail was in style for us- Bolerno Spritz.
It’s as mouth-watering as you would imagine from looking at those ingredients!
But then we got right down to business; wine time came around so I ordered myself a glass (or two) while my friend grabbed herself some beer instead since she didn’t want that much alcohol on such an early evening when there were still plenty more opportunities ahead for her heart rate to go through the roof…

Cin Cin is certainly one of the best restaurants in town.
The service is intimate and friendly, which makes for a nice atmosphere – perfect for an easy night with friends or family!
The food was delicious as well; we loved all of the sensational tastes and textures that were offered while dining here at this hipster restaurant.
It’s important to make a reservation because they only have 20 seats available per evening so you don’t want to miss out on your chance!

The Chilli Pickle

0

The Chilli Pickle

Chilli Pickle offers an exciting menu of creatively prepared authentic Indian dishes with delicate spicing and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant’s unique setting combines a refreshing, modern aesthetic that is also somewhat boutique in style.

This is a cool and heavily branded restaurant with an upbeat atmosphere. The décor has bright colours of Bollywood all over the place, making it seem like you’re in India for just that one night! There are wooden tables that have café-style seating – metal tumblers keep water cold nearby on shelves made from rough wood planks.

Happy stars hang from the ceiling to light up your experience at Chilli Pickle where waiters offer great recommendations about dishes before they serve them right to your table!

Excellent Indian Cuisine

The menu is inspired by different regions of India, so it’s always exciting to see what you’ll get! It can be anything from the North-East region (Kashmir) or Southern Region (Tamil Nadu). Not only does this restaurant have variety in their food but also plenty on offer for vegetarians as well – they even do some vegan dishes too, made using chickpeas instead of meat.

The menu at the Chilli Pickle is great for people who like to try everything. It can be tailored to suit the needs of any individual. For those who are dining in for special occasions or private dinners and events, they offer a selection from their menu that will make your night unforgettable!

You’ll find traditional Indian dishes, as well as some more creative takes on classic favourites. Plus, they offer a little something for everyone: meat-eaters will love their tandoori and roasts; vegetarians can enjoy dosas and biryanis; gluten-free folks are also welcome!

Indian Desserts

The desserts at this restaurant are limited, which makes sense given the generous main course. We opted for some homemade Indian sweets and truffles; six one-bite morsels that were all satisfying in their own right! There was a squidgy peanut toffee with jaggery syrup on top – our favourite of them all – as well as an elegant maple gulab jamun soaked in syrup…

Chilli Pickle Drinks Menu

The cocktail menu includes drinks with an Indian twist, such as the Star of India and chilli and mango margarita. We got a couple of non-alcoholic coolers: The Persian lemonade had fresh sugar cane juice for those who don’t drink alcohol or prefer to keep their heads clear during dinner time; it was refreshing after all that spicy food. And if you’re not into soda at all, we recommend getting the Pomegranate & Ginger Fizz which is more like sparkling water than anything else but still has some sweetness from the ginger in there too!

If coffee is your thing either then try out Kerala Coffee which comes both hot or cold.

The Urchin Pub

The Urchin is one restaurant I’ve been curious about for a while because they seem to offer something different than your typical local pub fare.
Having heard from friends who live nearby, saying that it’s a great place to enjoy some time away from work or school.

I had the pleasure of visiting the pub, which was gorgeous. This seaside venue is beautiful in every way, with muted greys, a nautical interior design and interior lighting, and a lovely garden area in which to enjoy a quiet beer by the sea.

Their huge selection of craft beers are placed strategically where you can grab them off the bar for inspection before deciding which one will be your next favourite – but beware: these delicious brews won’t last long!

This charming pub in Hove is located on Belfast Street, 10 minutes away from the train station.

It’s a great choice for family gatherings or socializing with friends!

Foodgasm

The Urchin is a restaurant that caters to seafood lovers. They serve up prawns, lobsters and more with everything coming straight from their locally-named supplier partner – it’s guaranteed freshness every time!

The Urchin has something for everyone on their menu, including plant-only varieties. Though it’s not marketed as a vegetarian or vegan resto, they do have many options that make them an excellent place to visit if one of your party members’ is looking for the meatless fare!

On my first visit to this restaurant, I appreciated the simple yet delicious scallops. The butter and citrus complemented their delicate flavour while adding a satisfying touch of richness.

I also loved how the bread came alongside large wedges with either balsamic and oil or butter.

The paella I ate was beautiful, and the way they presented it made me feel like an honoured guest. It looked great under its foil sheet-the seafood lay on top of rice with a crispy edge that tasted delicious.
I love that they bring it to your table for some theatre and then reveal this colourful display of prawns, mussels and squid tips!

Beers and More!

The Urchin is a likeable pub with substance. Its beers are unique and the food menu reflects this same creativity, which makes it more than just another place to go for some drinks and appetizers.

To please the wine lover, Urchin has made sure to provide a long list of wines that pair well with their shellfish dishes.

I was drawn to this restaurant for its paella, but I can’t help being tempted by the other specials. There are langoustine ramen and prawns among others that are making my stomach growl just reading about them! This restaurant deserves a second visit from me…
