An entertaining and bright space exists on the entry floor with a banquette seat abutting the large windows.

It’s perfect for sitting down to enjoy the excitement of Lanes District!

There is a brilliant combination of the green and deep blue colour scheme – they contrast wonderfully against the rustic wood floors!

Let the chic, yet the inviting atmosphere of this pub soothe your tension with its ambience. Spend a day lounging on one of their luxurious couches in front of expansive windows where you can take in views for miles or unwind in their roof garden or have some cocktails and appetizers at their historic cocktail lounge that features 70s inspired decor!

Pub Food

The Mesmerist is where you’ll find all your favourite pub fare, plus the unmistakable southern flavours!
You can enjoy BBQ chicken wings and ribs with a side of charred corn on the cob. Or wash down some macaroni n’ cheese off between bites o’ beef brisket or smoked sausage.

The burgers are some of the best-tasting and most nutritious around!

I had a burger at the Mesmerist and it was seriously tasty. I think they were using locally sourced beef, which is awesome. The fries were really good too because they’re triple-cooked so you know that your potatoes are never going to be undercooked or soggy on this side of town!

They have vegetarian options too so you can enjoy all their amazing flavours.

Full of delicious dishes for all occasions, you’ll find something to satisfy every appetite. This pub serves a wide variety for those with the smallest appetites and also can provide food that will fill even the mightiest hunger pangs.

Amazing Roof Garden

Did you know that The Mesmerist has a cool rooftop terrace? It’s one of Brighton’s best-kept secrets and is only three levels up! It is an ideal location in which to escape the hustle and bustle of the city below while enjoying some Mojito cocktails with friends.
And if your hunger kicks in while there, order anything from their A La Carte menu to be brought right out to you on the roof…

Drink Menu

The Mesmerist is serving up some of the most decadent cocktails in Brighton, and that’s just their drinks! The restaurant also features a wide range of craft beers on tap to satisfy your thirst.
Plus, they have something for those looking for an afternoon cocktail fix with Salted Caramel Espresso Martinis or Negroni punches available at the bar.

If you’re looking for some of the best live music and theme nights in Brighton, The Mesmerist is a place that should be on your to-do list.

The Mesmerist brings something for everyone. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or prefer your beats with more bass than melody, there is an experience that will satisfy all tastes at this phenomenal venue in one way or another.

Kook’s is your go-to for a hearty dinner with options like juicy burgers, delicious fish and flavorful salads. Their kids’ menu has something to please every palate as well!

Enjoyable Dining Experience

The waiter served our appetizers and I couldn’t wait to dig in. My starter was a mouthwatering chicken parfait with crispy brioche, while my dining partner went for the lighter-sounding parma ham purse but ended up being pleasantly surprised by its taste; it had melon puree on top that just made him want more!

After a bit of deliberation, we decided on the sirloin steak with chimichurri, grilled baby leeks and sweet potato chips for our mains. We were very impressed by this dish; it was full of flavour, while not being too heavy or filling.
The sliced steak salad that followed also had us pleasantly surprised: the croutons gave off an amazing crunchy texture to complement the freshness from tomatoes and basil dressing.
Overall, it left us feeling satisfied without getting stuffed!

The dessert menu was worth every penny and the Toblerone cocktail played a key role in that decision. It had an amazing, but not too sweet taste to it which made for a perfect pairing with the soft gooey brownie and ice cream we also ordered.

Special Cocktails

The Kooks bar is a haven for cocktail enthusiasts. The menu of special cocktails features twists on classics such as the Moscow mule and espresso martini, but they’re more than happy to whip up something from scratch if you have any requests!

This is a great restaurant to visit if you’re in the area and want something different. They have excellent drinks here, especially cocktails! The staff was very friendly and attentive during our entire time there – they were quick when we needed anything done too.
This place won’t leave you hungry either; it’s reasonably priced for how much food they give out per dish!

The price of this establishment makes it one worth visiting while on vacation or passing through town because their affordable with prices that will make your wallet happy as well as delicious dishes created by chefs who are famous around these parts.
Their waitstaff is always helpful making sure everyone has what they need from start to finish without any delays whatsoever so people can enjoy themselves throughout each meal no matter how

Everybody’s going to be able to find something they like.

Each of us chose the vegetarian mezze platter, which was £5.50. Great value for the money!
I couldn’t believe the size of that plate! Serving with delicious crispy bread, this platter includes hummus, a tasty tomato bean dish, feta, halloumi, beetroot salad, and more.
Honestly, you get more than your money’s worth with this platter. It was an excellent portion size.

Lost in the Lanes Brighton

0

Lost in the Lanes Brighton

Lost in the Lanes is a delightful little gem of Brighton. It’s hidden away in one of the most famous districts, and you’ll find its location at 10 Nile Street on a narrow street that looks more like an alleyway off from the main strip.
This makes Lost in the Lanes hard to avoid but also easy enough for people looking for something special or those who want to keep it all their secret!

The casual atmosphere is refreshing and the seating areas are inviting. The room has two sections, a front area for takeaways with counter service as well as an open space complete with sofas lining one wall and tucked under tables of mixed hues to match that make up the entire interior design.

The enticing aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries greet you as soon as you enter the café. The back kitchen pass opens up to a charming view where patrons eagerly await their delicious meals in comfy seating areas.

Brunch Menu

Brunch is a big part of the culture in Brighton, and Lost In The Lanes has something for everyone. Similar to its food menu that relies on quality ingredients and good cooking techniques, brunch at Lost doesn’t disappoint with options like omelettes or eggs benedict.
The three main things you can always find here are the simplicity of dishes made fresh from high-quality products, provenance (locally sourced meat), as well as updated menus changing throughout different seasons to match your cravings!

There’s plenty of plant-based options on the menu, like a vegan cake or hearty breakfast. Gluten-free dishes are also available!

After a long week of work, I needed something soothing and simple. The shakshuka was a perfect choice- when it arrived at my table moments later, its colours were so vibrant that they seemed to glow from within.
Upon taking one bite it became clear why this dish is also known as “the breakfast of champions.”

The Tunisian dish is utterly delicious, and the rich, runny yolk was perfectly surrounded by a sweet and spicy layer of juicy tomato slices.

Lunch Menu

The Lost in the Lanes knows how important it is to find a place that makes you feel at home. It offers high-quality, affordable lunch catering for those who want to enjoy their food on location or take it away with them.
However, if your day of shopping has left you feeling hungry and ready for an evening out then this restaurant will satisfy both cravings – serving up delicious dishes such as lamb skewers with pomegranate molasses alongside wine from the extensive list available!

I am so glad I found this hidden gem! The coffee is delicious too, the food tastes great and there’s a menu for any time of day. It has such a nice atmosphere too – it’s just perfect!

Brown’s Menu

Brown’s restaurant is a place where you can indulge in exquisite food while enjoying the ambience and being waited on.

The atmosphere changes depending on what time of day it is – but there’s always something delicious waiting just around the corner!

Brown’s restaurant in Brighton has a lot of delicious food options including their 2-course lunch for £11.95, Afternoon tea menu, kids menu, cocktail menu and the daily changing specials on offer!

A Night to Remember

I was pleasantly surprised when I returned to the Brasserie after a new menu had been launched. The restaurant seemed more crowded, and they were serving dishes that sounded good!

For my starter, I ordered a light main, not even considering the option of soup.
The courgette tagliatelle is refreshing and tangy with just enough spice to make you reach for your glass of water as fast as possible.
My dining partner’s beef brisket croquettes are rich in flavour and were an excellent accompaniment to this dish which was more than either one of us could finish!
There’s also a beautiful piccalilli that we both agree on being better than anything else found at other restaurants around town.

I’m anxiously awaiting our main courses, and my 7oz fillet of steak with lobster tail, peppercorn sauce, and fat-cut chips are just the way I like them.
A beautiful sample of medium-rare beef was served to me, cooked exactly to my specifications. It was mostly the chunkiness of the chip fries that I loved; they were crisp on one side and fluffy on the other!
Furthermore, the dish comes with a generous amount of cream pepper sauce which can also be used as a dipping sauce -YUM!

My partner ordered the braised blade of beef with mushroom gravy, forestiere sauce, and horseradish cream. Added to the order are chips with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese sauce.
As soon as we get my dishes in front of me he gives me a taste of that meat, so to make sure I do not miss anything I close my eyes and savour our meal!
This dish is soaked in plenty of rich gravy with slices of crispy bubbled potatoes sprinkled on top.
It is hearty, satisfying, and hearty winter-warming goodness, it leaves you feeling full for hours afterwards.

Offering a welcoming environment, this restaurant is perfect for the everyday person who wants to eat something they’re familiar with.
They cater well for large groups and even those who have dietary restrictions!

Adelfia’s Menu

There’s nothing quite like a seaside taverna on a holiday, or it might be the taste of cuisine from Adelfia Greek Restaurant in Brighton.
A special lunch menu consists of a choice of three prepared dishes at a set price, including a glass of wine, beer, soft drink or soft drink.
It is a warm and friendly way to spend an hour or so after dinner. There are vegetarian options, fresh salads, pita bread, and delicious locally caught fish on the main menu.

We are huge fans of Greek food and this place delivers every time. The food is delicious from start to finish!
The staff is very friendly and caring. The restaurant is traditional Greek and very clean. We highly recommend it for real Greek food, delicious and nicely served.
We had moussaka and stifado, both are delicious and they are a genuine taste of Greece. Sharing mezze as an appetizer is also a great way of trying out a variety of their delicious starters.
Great food and excellent service at a good price. One of our best meals in ages!

Eatalio

0

Eatalio Brighton

There is a never-ending supply of new trends in the food industry; different styles, and presentations.
It’s always so exciting to walk up to any given stand or happen upon one that I haven’t seen before with all sorts of fresh ingredients at my disposal – it feels like an adventure!
A little place called Eatalio is just such a spot for me: they’re passionate about their delicious food served with pride.

The Atmosphere

Eatalio is a cool place to get authentic Italian food and coffee in Brighton. The restaurant has piadas (Italian wraps), pasta bowls, and salads for you to eat as well as freshly brewed coffee!

One of the best parts about Eatalio is that it has a cool, urban industrial vibe. There’s vibrant graffiti on some walls with newspaper cutouts and high stools around the edges.
You can also find traditional lower tables in the centre as well for people to sit at if they don’t want something more fancy looking like most restaurants have nowadays.
It’s not too crowded either so I recommend grabbing one of those window seats by Queen’s Road because you get a perfect view right smack dab in front of this main street here which makes for great people watching!

Healthy Options

The Eatalio menu gives you a choice of three different bases for your lunch, including their Angel Hair pasta bowl, Piada (Italian wrap) or Mixed Salad Leaves.
Next, you top it with an option from the grill which is all locally sourced and marinated in fresh flavours and herbs; Free Range Chicken is one example that can be grilled on request.
To finish they have a selection of hot and cold Italian sauces to choose from as well as salad dressings to design your perfect dish: try combining them!

I love the Italian dishes here. Our soft fresh pasta is cooked in front of us, and it’s served with a spicy Italian sausage that tastes amazing!
It has some fiery spice to it but isn’t too hot for me – there are olives on top as well which help bring out the flavour even more.
The dish also includes mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce; I usually like my food extra cheesy so this was perfect for me.
My favourite part about our piada though were all these incredible peppers we put inside- they make the filling taste great.
We added Diavolo hot sauce made from tomatoes, cream, garlic salt (and) chilli pepper powder onto ours because you can never have enough heat when eating such an amazing meal!

Drinks and more drinks!

After we finished our authentic Italian lunch, my friend and I wash it down with Santal juices. My choice was the cloudy apple while he went for orange flavour.
Just like everything else that has been served so far today, these flavours are rich and satisfying to us both! Beers, Small batch coffees or other soft drinks can also be chosen from their menu!

The moment you step inside Eatalio, staff chat away to customers and make them feel like family.
The chefs are knowledgeable about the food they’re preparing and clear out any clutter on their floor while providing fantastic service!

West Beach Bar & Kitchen

0

West Beach Bar & Kitchen

Brighton’s West Beach Bar & Kitchen have a laid-back vibe that can’t be beaten. The British Airways i360 tower is right there, and with it comes sweeping views of the beach and old West Pier—a favourite spot for taking in Brighton’s relaxed atmosphere while sipping on your choice from their menu of coffee or alcoholic drinks.

This is one of the most scenic and relaxing bars in Brighton. With a direct view of the beach, you can feel like your on vacation with this laid back bar with great views!

A Wide Variety of Options

If you’re looking for a place to eat with the whole family, West Beach is your spot. They have food from every category on their menu.

This is the perfect place for all ages to be happy. They have a range of extensive menus, including brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and Sunday roast!

The food is so good, you can’t stop at just one dish. From Buffalo Cauliflower Wings to a classic Battered Fish & Chips and even vegan options like the Vegan Fish and Chips or burgers, many dishes will excite your taste buds!

Vegetarian and vegan West Beach options are plentiful, with gluten-free menu items marked. Customize your dish if you need to!

West Beach’s Interior

The award-winning interior of this restaurant has been designed by Mark Barfield Architects. You can find local artists’ work on the walls and you’ll never get bored!

The place is divided into four distinct sections. There’s the restaurant that offers dishes inspired by Brighton, a lounge bar with cocktails and other tipples, a coffee shop for your caffeine fix, afternoon tea or cake break as needed; then there’s also an intimate area just perfect for those group gatherings you need to have over drinks in-between business meetings too—it will feel like being at home but without having to do any of the cooking or cleaning up afterwards!

Our Experience

The crab cakes were perfect. They had a zesty Thai flavour thanks to the ginger, and chilli sauce with just enough breading on them so they weren’t too heavy but still crispy. The fries are also good – not greasy or anything like that which is important for me to enjoy eating food!

It’s always a great feeling when you can order your children’s meal and not have to wait for it. The kids’ meals at this restaurant are good because they allow the child to mix and match their side dishes with all sorts of options; peas, chips, fries or vegetables such as broccoli or carrots! Our daughter ordered grilled chicken while our son had pasta with salad on the side.

The moules a la creme was the star of our meal. My partner went for the daily special – lobster florentine with Prosecco – what an indulgent treat that we both thoroughly enjoyed sharing.

The final course of the night was a huge plateful of doughnuts which came with yummy chocolate and caramel sauces. We were all so full, but we managed to finish them off before they got cold!

We loved every minute of our experience. We felt so well looked after and safe while the food was really hard to fault! It’s a beautiful location with an awesome beach vibe that can’t be beaten when you’re looking for something quick, cheerful, and delicious.

Giggling Squid

Giggling Squid Brighton

The Giggling Squid has all the makings of a great restaurant – simple and fresh Thai food, combined with an inviting and vibrant atmosphere.

When you first walk in, it’s not hard to see why this place is so popular!

There are three floors to this restaurant, which features a variety of dining areas. It is not your typical spot for dinner!
At lunch, you’ll still find their signature Thai Tapas on the menu and at night you have regular dishes plus some unique flavours that may be new to you – perfect for a date or a night out by yourself. It’s an experience like no other.

Delish Thai Food

Think about how much you love Thai food and then think of the one thing they are always missing, a dish that is so spicy good it makes your eyes water.
Well, this restaurant has an answer to all our prayers! The lamb curry was out-of-this-world delicious with its chunky pieces of meat in a succulent sauce full of spices.
The portions are generous and there are cashews on top that add an extra crunch to complete this delicious meal.

We also ordered green curry. The sauce on top of it had just enough heat, but wasn’t too spicy for me to handle!
And the stir fry with mixed vegetables is even better than your usual Chinese or Thai food- not only does it taste good, but there’s no MSG in sight!
I don’t know what they put in their dish to make this happen, maybe some secret ingredient?

Also, the duck spring rolls were the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time, and it’s not even close. They tasted like nothing else! The pastry was light and flaky.
And then there was that sauce: its sweet flavour reminded me more of honey than anything else, but with an extra kick from all those spices mixed into it.

Lastly, we have the mixed vegetable stir fry which is delightful as well – simple yet flavorful!
Here’s another perfect example of how small ingredients go together beautifully without being overbearing one bit.

Extensive Thai Menu

There is something for everyone at Giggling Squid Brighton, and they offer all the basics. They have great food that is both fun to eat AND healthy with an extensive menu of options!
Their delicious cocktails and children’s menu are perfect if you’re with kids. Plus they also have vegetarian options as well as gluten-free dishes so everyone is catered for.

So do yourself a favour and stop by the next time your stomach’s grumbling or you need some takeout from one of the best restaurants around town – trust us when we say they’ve got it all here at The Giggling Squid!

Happy Maki

0

Happy Maki

Brighton is a city that loves its vegan food, so when Happy Maki opened up with their new concept of sushi wrapped in seaweed and rice it was an instant hit.
With all-natural ingredients like avocado, cucumber, carrots or zucchini these rolls are sure to make you happy as can be!

This brand-new concept will be bringing something so different to our food scene; an entirely vegetarian menu consisting of high protein dishes you could easily eat every day.

Their wraps are made using only plant-based ingredients which makes them both nutritious AND tasty too – what more can you ask from a meal?

Plant-based wraps and sustainability

They offer plant-based wraps that are inspired by the taste of sushi rolls, but with a twist.
They incorporate flavours from around the world to make it more interesting for those who like different tastes than just plain old vegetarian food.
Not only do they have a variety in their menu but also in education and awareness about how commercial fishing can impact delicate ocean ecosystems

With Happy Maki, you can enjoy great wraps while also making the world a better place.
They fight against child hunger and forest loss in developing countries by donating to charities for these issues all over the globe!

Vegan Sushis

The Happy Maki sushi experience is a new take on an old favourite.
Their Su-Shi rolls are made with the freshest ingredients and offer customers tons of options to suit their taste buds, but they still maintain some traditional flavours you’re sure to love!

These giant sushi burritos are the best! All vegan sushi burritos on offer at this Brighton establishment are utterly delicious.
They come with fillings like sweet potato and roasted coconut with my favourite satay sauce. And you know they’re healthy because it’s from sustainable sources!
