Baqueano

As a restauranteur, I’m always looking for the perfect spot to celebrate with my significant other. Baqueano is seriously one of those places!

The Argentinian food served here is a fusion of various amazing Argentinian flavours, so you can’t go wrong. Adriana and Jorge are the business owners couple who both share the same goal for their family-run establishment: to make anyone that comes in feel like they’re eating back home in Argentina. They have three children helping out too, which makes it an even more special experience when dining there!

The atmosphere is perfect if you want something casual but still want some amazing quality eats without breaking the bank. From their service to food, this is a place where you should feel at home with an authentic and delicious experience!

Argentinian Food Menu

The Argentinian food at Baqueano Brighton is so good that you’ll never want to leave. The skirt steak and sweetbread are a must-try!

With meat being its focus, this a la carte menu serves Entraña or skirt steak. There are also options for grilled meats with salad, chips and homemade sauces, as well as meal-sized portions like steak sandwiches or burgers available on their set menus.

I could have ordered one of everything at the restaurant, but I had to stop myself. When it was time for appetizers, we went with Provoleta and Picada Argentina, which were both delicious!

The ribeye steak was the main dish, and it felt huge. It was juicy, full of flavour, perfect with every bite. The fries were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside too! It’s like I died and went to heaven when I dove into those Argentinian dips with a side of yummy goodness that is sure to please my taste buds even more than before…

Wine List

Baqueano offers more than just a weekday dinner. For special occasions, Baqueano features a nine-course tasting menu for two with welcome prosecco on arrival and wine pairing included (and you can select from an almost but not entirely Argentinian wine list).

The noise, the people. It was like a heartbeat in my ear, and I loved it! The smells were intoxicating-full of life with so much going on. However, what was stunning was looking at all the varied types of people who were there: families, young couples, or even someone out alone. That’s what made me love this place even more than before – how everyone came together despite their differences.
