The Regency Restaurant

Brighton’s iconic Regency Restaurant serves up the freshest seafood with a side of history.

This restaurant has been serving fresh fish since the 1930s, making it one of Brighton’s longest-running restaurants in terms of longevity and popularity.
This establishment will transport you back to another era as soon as you walk through the door–the décor hasn’t changed much over time and neither have their favourite dishes!

This popular restaurant is ever-present on Brighton’s seafront and fans love the simple uncomplicated fare.

With its cheerful atmosphere, generous portions, and reasonable prices it’s no wonder that this lively bistro has won a national award!

You’ll want to make your way down the coast for a taste of their seafood dishes. Try some mouthwatering morsels from their menu while you admire stunning views of the English Channel and i360 features like never before!

Fish and Seafood Menu

As soon as you step into The Regency, the fresh scent of seafood fills your nose and says “This is where I want to be.”
At this inviting restaurant, savoury dishes are made from ingredients that come straight off their daily catch. And if it’s deliciousness at a great price that interests you most-you’ll find them here too!

The menu features a wide variety of seafood dishes, most with chips and salad on the side.

Our waiter was very attentive and made recommendations that were spot on. I especially enjoyed the moules mariniere, deep-fried whitebait, mackerel pate, and baked oysters! These starters around our table all got rave reviews from my friends as well.

I ordered the Grilled Skate with Capers and it was a game of contrasts. A fish that is firm on the outside yet soft in its centre, can be hard to find for those who enjoy their meal cooked more thoroughly but this dish managed that beautifully.

You’re going to be getting the best of everything, and you don’t have to worry about not being able to make up your mind.
You’ll find whatever seafood dish that will suit your fancy on their menu from raw oysters through grilled lobster or fried shrimp platters.
